John 14:1 Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me.”
Matthew 11:27a-30 NIV Jesus said, 27a. “All things have been committed to Me by My Father.” 28-30 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
*In the Bible, Weary is described as a state of Deep Exhaustion: It’s more than just feeling tired; it’s a pervasive sense of being drained, both physically and mentally. This can manifest as persistent tiredness, lack of motivation, difficulty concentrating, and even emotional numbness.
Also, a state of being: Deeply Depleted: Physical Chronic fatigue, sleep problems, frequent illness, headaches, muscle aches, unexplained weight changes. Mental brain fog, difficulty concentrating, memory problems, forgetfulness, and difficulty making decisions. Persistent feelings of sadness, irritability, apathy, anxiety, loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities, feeling overwhelmed, or numbness. You fill in the blank ______.
*Burden refers to the heavy load of sin, guilt, anxieties, and responsibilities that weigh people down. These burdens can lead to weariness, a sense of being overwhelmed, and a feeling of defeat. Examples of burdens are debt, struggling to make ends meet, and facing the prospect of losing your job, home, or family. It can also be grief, guilt, shame, or struggling with past traumas. You fill in the blank _______.
Jesus offers to carry your weariness and burdens. But are you willing to give them to Him?
Isaiah 52:14- 53 NIV 14. Just as there were many who were appalled at Him, His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man, and His form marred beyond human likeness. 53. Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces, He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. Surely, He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shears is silent, so He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgment, He was taken away. And who can speak of His descendants? For He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgression of My people He was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death, though He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it was the LORD'S will to crush Him and cause Him to suffer, and though the LORD makes His life a guilt offering, He will see His offspring and prolong His days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in His hand. After the suffering of His soul, He will see the light of life and be satisfied; by His knowledge, My righteous servant will justify many, and He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will give Him a portion among the great, and He will divide the spoils with the strong, because He poured out His life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For He bore the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
You can’t succeed in your efforts. Humble yourselves and ask the Lord for His PEACE.
1 Peter 5:5b-7 NKJV Be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
John 14:27 NIV Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
(The world's peace is temporal, but the Lord Jesus’ peace is eternal.)
THE BURDEN CARRIER JESUS CHRIST
James 4:1-10 NIV What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don't they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire, but you do not have, so you kill. You covet, but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You are adulterous people; don't you know the friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit He has caused to dwell in us? But He gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God, and He will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn, and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
*In a biblical context, enmity with God signifies a state of hostility, opposition, or antagonism toward God, stemming from sin and a rejection of His will. It’s not just a lack of relationship, but an active resistance to His authority and commands.
LET THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HELP YOU, PLEASE!
Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ.
Luke 11:9-13 NKJV Jesus said, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
WHAT DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT OFFER?
A way out of all your troubles.
Galatians 5:22-23a NKJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Acts 2:38 NIV Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the Name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Confess the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior.
“I repent of my sins, and declare with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.”
Romans 10:9-10 NIV If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified (righteous), and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Thanks be to God and The Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name I pray Amen!
